The electrode slitting circular knife is a special precision cutting tool used in lithium battery production processes for high-speed slitting of coated cathode and anode electrodes made from copper foil and aluminum foil of lithium batteries.

Cathode and anode electrodes: Aluminum foil positive electrodes, copper foil negative electrodes, lithium iron phosphate / ternary electrode rolls
Supporting films: Aluminum plastic packaging film, insulating PET film, adhesive tape base material and other high-precision film rolls

Grading Selection of Materials
Economical Tool Steel (for small & medium production capacity and low-speed slitting)
Cr12MoV
Top choice for cost performance, easy to regrind, suitable for slitting conventional separators and thick films.
SKD11 (D2)
Better wear resistance than Cr12MoV with hardness ranging from HRC 58 to 62, a standard option for regular mass production lines.
DC53
An upgraded version of SKD11 with excellent chipping resistance and wear resistance. It is less prone to edge notching when cutting materials containing minor impurities.
High-Grade Cemented Carbide (Preferred Material for Mass Production)
Hardness: HRA88~92, flatness ≤0.002mm with ultra-high finish on cutting edges. Its service life is 3 to 5 times that of tool steel. It is suitable for precision
slitting of ultra-thin separators and 4~8μm electrode foils on high-speed power battery production lines, effectively eliminating burrs and material shedding.
Anti-corrosion Coating (Ultra-long service life & anti-blade adhesion)
Substrates are available in tungsten carbide and high-speed steel, with optional surface treatments including Ta-C diamond-like coating, titanium nitride coating
and ceramic coating.
It features paste adhesion resistance and high temperature resistance, with minimal cutting edge wear after tens of thousands of continuous cutting meters. It greatly reduces shutdown and blade replacement frequency, and is ideal for processing high-value electrodes such as high-nickel ternary and silicon-carbon anode sheets.
