Cemented carbide

High-speed steel
Material characteristics:The tool has a relatively high hardness and can exhibit good cutting performance even when the temperature is too high. It can operate continuously at a high speed. Its wear resistance is lower than that of tungsten steel, but it is not prone to chipping of the cutting edge. Regular maintenance is required.
Application:General carpet cutting (such as the cutting of household carpets and in carpet processing factories), especially suitable for carpets with good fiber elasticity and without hard particles.
9CrSi
Material characteristics:The tool is not easy to deform even when it overheats. Its wear resistance is average, and its service life is relatively short when cutting hard materials. Usually, it has a lower price.
Application:It has a high cost-performance ratio and is suitable for cutting materials with soft fibers and low density, such as short-pile carpets, single-layer thin leather, etc.

Material characteristics:It has relatively high wear resistance and strong fatigue resistance. It can be used for cutting under heavy loads, has good anti-adhesion properties and is not easy to stick to glue. It is suitable for cutting multi-layer carpets or materials.
Application:Industrial-grade carpet processing (such as cutting of car floor mats and batch cutting of commercial carpets), especially suitable for multi-layer composite carpets or fabrics with a hard bottom layer.
